I got tired of every QR site on the planet looking like a Geocities relic and screaming at me to create an account before I could download a 200×200 PNG. So I built this one instead.

It’s deliberately simple. Paste a URL or some text, hit the button, get a QR code. No pop-ups, no “upgrade to remove our logo,” no dark patterns. If it stops working one day it’s because the world is ending.

Why “sobog”?

The domain was twenty bucks and I was drunk enough that it sounded cool. Zero deeper meaning. Don’t overthink it.

What this actually is

• Static QR codes — free, always will be
• SVG or PNG downloads, no man in the middle (unless you want it), no bullshit
• Dark mode – yeah it’s on the eternal todo list, stop asking

The fine print (there isn’t much)

Nothing here is open-source, nothing is a charity, and I’m not promising eternal free anything. It works right now. If you like it, great. If it saves you thirty seconds and a headache, that’s the entire point.
